Ccb struggles

Ccb i cant get it but mum friends have without working.

So i am a solo 24 7 mum to a bub. I have other solo mums too getting ccb without working

I try fill out online and obviously doing something wrong as i get messages saying i am not eligable but why lol

I am struggling.

Burnt out and need some daycare to help get on top of things. I also have 2 teenagers.

I'm constantly stressing and swamped with so much its out of control in so many ways

Anyway i ask my friends how they got approved for child care subsidy.

They dunno why. No diff to me ??

Anyone know

I'm dumb with paperwork etc and prob stuffing it up. It says ya gotta estimate income predicted to earn. Well i dont know i dont have a job!

I am trying to start by finding child care and try establish something. I'd rather not as i cant get anything done as it is !

If bubs sick or hits head at daycare or any reason i'll be made to leave job to help her and get her whos gunna employ that.
No family no friends support no dad

Augh i need ccb

I need help. Alot of help.

Have you tried ringing them? I know they are a pain to ring but sometimes you have to just to see why its not approving. It could be something really simple that they can help you with. Good luck!

You need to meet the activity test requirements. You have to be working, looking for work or be a carer for another child with a disability etc..

Your friends, if not working, are either meeting the test in some way, or fudging the activity figures (I've known quite a few of these!) It's not hard to say you're looking for work when you're not! However, they can be audited & the consequences are dire.

A lot of us are single parents, have kids in daycare, are solely responsible and work.
It's just the way it is.
It's worse when they're young, but during that hard phase, I always worked really hard, tried to become indispensable and employers seemed to be more flexible. Show them your value. Also, try for maybe 3 days a week, ease yourself and bub into it.
It's actually the same for a lot of partnered mums because some dads never want to use sick leave, because they believe their job is too important, so mum is always responsible. Plus, you only have 1, when there's 2 or 3 in the mix, it makes it 100 times harder.
I guess the govt is unwilling to pay for childcare for people who aren't working anymore.
You could also consider doing a course, gets you out of the house, gets you some chilcare, may also be good for your mental health.

You need enrol bub in to a daycare before your ccs will be approved. If they’re not enrolled in one yet that will be why it’s getting rejected. Everyone eligible for ftb gets a minimum of 24 hours per fortnight, but it’s not a payment to you - it gets paid directly to the daycare, which is why you need to have them enrolled first.
