Starting to feel the want for a 3rd child after having 2 boys, if we were to try again we both would love a girl, hoping to hear some success stories tricks for attempting to get a baby of a certain gender, have been told the chances of having a boy again is statistically higher after 2?

I had five boys....
The end?
PS: they're gorgeous and I love them to bits!!
I'm one of three girls. My cousin has 5 boys. You get what you get, no amount of hoping, dreaming or planning can change that. It just leads to disappointment. Even if you have a girl it doesn't mean she is going to be who you are imagining her to be.
Growing up I was very much more into boy stuff, out servicing the car with dad etc.
I have 2 boys born 06 and 08 and a girl born in 13. I fell pregnant with my boys in March and April. I fell pregnant with my girl in August. I believe their dad's age and health was to do with when and what I conceived. But it really is just a lottery. You've always got a 50/50 chance are what you hoping for. If I had had another boy I would have been happy to but I'm glad I got my girl.
I'm one of 6 girls so my mum never got her boy.
And I've had 3 girls and got the boy on the 4th try. We tried the shettlers method but were happy to get a either, my doc said I was just lucky with the boy. Basically it's sex b4 ovulation, and no sex when ur ovulating. U need to test tho as we sorta tried for the boy on our 3rd but I think my ovulation day was out by one day hence the girl. This time I made sure I did the ovulation test to make sure I knew when I was ovulating and got the boy.
I have three girls I'm done....he actually had 4 girls so I wasn't so naive as to think the trend would change.
Don't know who told you chances are higher.....gender is determined by him....its what he is shooting
We were the opposite. Had two girls, would have loved a boy. Google 'gender swaying'. We did everything and it worked for us. Our third was a boy. I've since told two other families who wanted a boy and it worked for them, too. Not sure for the reverse, though. I think as long as you know deep down you'll be truly happy either way, can't hurt trying everything.
After two gorgeous boys i also hoped for a little girl to complete our family (although if course i would have been happy with another son) I just tracked and timed ovulation. It's been proven male sperm are faster but only live for 2-3 days while girl sperm lives longer and is slower. We ttc 4th and 5th day before ovulation, fell pregnant first month. We chose not to find out the gender (love surprises) and we welcomed a little princess into the world. My sister tried this method and got a girl as did two friends. Good luck.
There is actually times where you're more likely to have a girl or boy. Girl sperm live longer before fertilising an egg, boy sperm swim faster but don't last long. So you can have sex at certain times to improve your chances.
Also I agree with above, you'll get what you get, but I'm sure you know that going into it.
there are positions and having sex at an appropriate time in your cycle can help try for a particular gender, boy sperm are faster but they die quicker so having sex closer to or on the day ovulate increases your chances of a boy but girl sperm swim slower but last longer so having sex a few day before ovulation will increase chances of a girl.Gender of the baby is up to dad and whether he contributes an x or y chromosome as us ladies give an x (xx=girly xy=boy)
let google be your friend research.
my first was a boy sex occurred closer to ovulation, my second is a girl sex occurred 3 days prior to ovulation TTC #3 and am just going with the flow as I don't mind what gender I get as long as it is healthy as I'm requiring fertility treatment this time around I'm hoping for my little miracle soon
biggest advice though is google!!
