Quietly freaking out
Partner passed away 4 years ago. Tested after he passed as he had a form of HPV cancer. Was told it wouldn’t affect me but wanted peace of mind.
Lately I have very smelly cloudy urine and discharge smells like a dead rat.
After sex on 3 separate occassions my partner has developed an abscess like thing on his penis. He has said “I must have something” as this has never happened to him before. I’ve been with no one since I was last tested 4 years ago.
I’ve just had bloods to see if I have anything nasty but as wondering if anyone else has had the same while I wait.

Has your partner been tested for STIs? He should go and get checked out. It’s possible he has something that has lain dormant for years and is only now showing up.
This exact scenario happened to my friend last year. Together 10 years. The abscess on the penis, the blaming her, because she'd had HPV when younger. Must have been dormant, he said. Your fault, he said.
Well, she asked her gyno who told her it doesn't happen like that with HPV. It didn't come from her. It came from him cheating. He had to finally admit it when presented with the facts. I'm not sure what it was, but she did get it. It was a couple of months after the cheating she got symptoms.
I'm not saying your partner HAS been cheating, it could be something else. But, don't just blindly believe the line it's come from you, from something many years ago. Ask a doctor.
