Passing gallstones naturally

Passing gallstones naturally

I passed gall stones naturelly....... I'm not seeking medical advice. Just peoples experiences.

I had gallstones. It was described to me as "slidge" as it was alot of granules like sand. It took up half of my gall, i was in agony. I also had an inflamed and infected gall.

A week after that hospital visit, I was sent in again. I was in extreme pain. No pain meds worked at all. They maxed me out on everything. I finally had a scan. It seemed I was passing my sludge, and that was the cause of the pain. My gall is currently empty. No signs of infection. 9hrs of unbearable pain. I had no idea you could pass gall stones

The issue is, it's been 3 days, and I'm still feeling light to moderate pain in my upper middle abdo. Some times uo behind my right shoulder blade. I do plan on seeing a Dr about it. What was your recovery from naturally passing gall stones? Where did your pain sit. It's constant. When I breath in deep its more painful. When I sleep on my sides it's more painful.

They won't take it when you have an infection. I also had an inflamed liver at the same time.

Did they give you antibiotics? As soon as infection gone, next attack, get in and get everything out. Thinking of you, sorry no advice about passing naturally, I didn't even know I had them. I had ,2 previous attacks, looking back but thought I was just severely constipated. You're right though, no pain meds work, it's like labour. Sending love, hope you get it resolved x

I was on antibiotics and they worked well. But to have gall removed publicly right away is something that doesn't happen often. Some people wait months to years. IV been having attacks for months thinking I had trapped wind. I can think back a few yrs ago and remember similar pain too.

They don't always take them out instantly like that, I think it depends if they are at risk of complications and need out asap. Otherwise they put you on a waiting list and just put up with the pain until then. Or pass them yourself. I haven't had them but my SIL did and suffered for a long time before they got taken out.
