Hi girls I'm in need of advice I've been dating this super man for over 18 months and I'd like to take the next step and get engaged 💍 we are older in our 50s so time isn't on our side I'm not in a hurry to marry again but would just like his full commitment to me.Im not sure if I should bring it up or hint or just wait and hope he does something lol it's been a long time since I've been in this situation I do know he's totally in love with me and don't doubt that at all I'd just like to more official I suppose.

I think at your age you just come right out and ask what he thinks of getting married. Dont wait for him or hint because it might be the furtherest thing from his mind, nothing to do with how he feels for you but most people in their 50's aren't looking to get married, that stage of life is over. I'm 43 and partner is 48, we have been together 8 years and are not going to get married. We just can't be bothered and see it as a waste of money and paperwork. Nothing wrong with getting married when older I just think its not a priority for everyone and that peoples opinions need to be respected and not forced into it.
