Nutritional advice while pregnant!

does anyone have any nutritional advice while pregnant? I’m 12 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child & I’m worried I’ll gain too much weight because I’m not always careful with what I eat while pregnant. Is there anyone nutritional advice I can get before I attend my first midwife appointment?

Visit a nutritionist or dietician. They can be expensive, so if money is tight book in with a student healrh clinic like Torrens University or Endeavour College as it's about $25 per visit. I believe they offer telehealth if your not close to a campus.
There are also some examples of food ideas on Web pages like Nurition Australia.

Try to find a Dietician or nutritionist that offers Medicare rebate or bulk bills. We have one connected to our doctors surgery which is cheaper.

I would definitely be careful as I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes for one of my children. I had to eat more and regularly. I was so sick of pricking my fingertips and eating bananas.

You need to make sure you are also keeping your vitamins up so I would definitely seek professional advice on this one.

Just eat less it's a no brainer. You even said you're not careful with what you eat, resulting in weight gain. Just do the opposite of what you're doing. It's probably not 'what' you're eating, it's more likely the amount, and portion sizes are too big. Cut back.
