Websites or book recommendations for cholesterol etc

I am over weight. It’s horrible. My clothes don’t fit and I’m embarrassed to go anywhere. But the bigger problems are my cholesterol, my heart and my blood pressure. Can anyone recommend any websites or books etc for food/recipes to aid in blood pressure, cholesterol etc? I have also just started exercising. Thankyou xx

I love Luke Hines and he does have a website.

Start very simple, swap comfort foods. So do not stop eating. Just swap. E.g. if you like eating chips, swap them for nuts or apple etc.

Alongside calorie counting I used to go to the gym 6 days a week but could not budge some kilos until I realised exercise would never put me into a Calorie deficit and my body was hitting starvation mode so storing everything I ate.

I lost all the weight adopting a Paleo lifestyle which can borderline Keto at times with less effort lol. I realised my body loves to store anything carb. I still remember a PT telling me eating bread for breakfast is like eating cake for breakfast. I lost all the weight without having to exercise, I just became naturally fitter.

There are lots of Facebook groups. It's just a case of finding out what works for your body.
