Diploma of Community services - how did it help your career, what job did you get into?
My friend told me its a waste of time diploma and its too hard to get a job and the pay rate of any job you do get is terrible.
Any thoughts or experiences?

There's a lot of work going in my area ATM that needs that, one that I would've applied for but couldn't because I don't have that certificate...and that was starting at 80k from memory, which isn't bad. Try council websites, state government websites, federal government. Don't look at average wages on seek or any of those because they can be really inaccurate. Look at advertised positions for what you want to do and that will give you a better idea of the wage.
