Chocolate addict - help

Absolute total chocolate addict here. Couldn’t live without it. But as I’m putting on weight, I want to try and substitute it for something healthy. Something that will kill my sugar cravings but good for me. Any ideas? Pretty much at night when I’m sitting watching tv. Thankyou

Cup of tea with no sugar is very low cal and helps you feel tired, and helps a little chocolate taste sweeter. For me the trick is to only buy a mini choc like those Aldi dream or buy a regular size bar and share some pieces out to the family at the start, otherwise I’ll eat it all, not able to ration here.
I also calorie count so I know how much I can have and work it out first and factor it in.

These are excellent tips. I'll add I got into the habit of binging in front of the tv of an evening. Breaking the habit involved doing something with my hands (I took up crochet), allowing myself a cuppa and small dessert, like chocolate, and then brushing my teeth straight away to break the craving.

Honestly I was the same!! My trick? Dont buy it... Its hard! but do not have it in the house, have a cuppa and a mandarine or banana instead.
It wont take long to stop the habit!

Eat a packet of chocolate flavoured tiny teddies in stead. 100 cal for a packet. Have it with a cuppa. I’m a sweeties addict so I feel you.
