Just wondering if someone could please give me recommendations on private health insurance that covers rehab?
I’m in Sydney and a family member requires rehab to overcome drug addiction (ice) but can not afford to do so.

If they see a Dr can they get a referral to a free one? I assume there would be a mix of private clinics and nfp clinics. We have one where we live (rural) and it is free but long wait list and need a referral from Dr, court, counselor etc.
All Private Health Insurance companies cover Rehab on Gold level minimum 2 month wait. You need to find out which clinic though as not all insurers cover at every clinic.
My ex husband was able to get the waiting period wavered for rehab. Health insurance waver it for first time. The rehab will tell yo this too…. Good luck
