What do you do when the one person that you relied on your whole life has died?

When things are so bad but you don't have your "person".

The only person that has been there in the good and bad and has loved you unconditionally, always there to hold your hand through life and was your biggest champion for 40+ years and in a second, they are gone.

What do you do?

I lost my person 2 years ago. I remember her during the hard times and what she would say and want me to do and then I do it.
Her death shaped me into a new person... there is a piece of her in everything I do, every person I help, I find some comfort in that

I know this all too well. You struggle on. You learn to cope. You seek out strategies to learn to live with grief. It’s really hard and 16 months on, I still haven’t learnt to deal with it well. I just continue to put one foot in front of the other and try my best to survive.
