Hi I have been lucky through my teen years and still to this day have never had pimples. My husband did get them and still does sometimes, but now my 12 year old daughter is starting to get them. So what is the best thing I should be doing now to try stop the severity of them. There is a lot of stuff that says they are good but what is good and what is not worth it. Thanks

My 14 year old son’s paediatrician said to get him into a good cleansing and moisturising routine to try and reduce the severity of his acne. I use Ecology Skincare moisturiser for myself, so I got him a trial pack of moisturisers for teenage acne prone skin so he could try them then decide which he prefers. He now cleanses with a bamboo cloth (also purchased from Ecology Skincare) then moisturises. His skin has improved so much in the couple of months he’s been doing this. If he doesn’t cleanse and moisturise for a couple of days it starts to get worse again.
