I need help buying a new TV. Are there any TVs that don't break as soon as you touch the screen. We have lines all over from my crazy toddler hitting it with something. Are all TVs this weak these days??? I just don't want to replace it until I know.hes not going to do it again.

TVs are not designed to be hit.
You can get tv screen protectors. They'll reduce your image quality slightly but might be worth it. Just do a bit of online research to get the right kind for your tv & heavy duty protection needs.
Otherwise, hang it on the wall where he can't get to it or put a barrier around it.
I would hold off until he stops doing it. Unless you go really old school I don't think any new TV's withstand hitting due to the screens being more than just a glass window.
Put the TV up high
Well, yeah, TV'S these days definitely aren't as tough as the indestructible boxes we had when our generation was growing up (we've accidentally broken a few telly's ourselves) but even the best flat screen isn't going to withstand direct hits.
Your best option is either wall mounting, (placing the TV up high if that's not an option) or barricading the TV and cabinet with a play pen in addition to not allowing your child unsupervised access to the TV area.
