Diploma and full-time mum/part time work

Hi mums
I want to go and do me ENs (diploma of nursing) at tafe.
Im a full time mum (soul custody), my daughter is ADHD and has alot of behavioural needs. I work 58 hours a fortnight.
Is any one and EN that can tell me if this couse is doable for my life style. What are the pracs like, that's what worries me the most. I would have to take leave with out pay, and I still have rent to pay etc. I've been told there are 400 hours of prac over two years? I would do the course part time with a few RPLs. Can I spread the pracs out and not have to do them in one big chunk?
Can I take the course even more slowly and do it say over 5 years?

The placements can't all be done at the same time, you do an aged care one, then two acute placements. the practicals are done over a few weeks so you learn as you go.
I went to TAFE and had to be there 4-5 days a week from 9.00-3.00.

It's worth it in the end, I LOVE MY JOB!

You’ve only got 3 years to finish. Keep that in mind.
