Kids Covid 19 Vaccinations

I’m not against vaccines or an anti vaxxer
Both my husband and I are fully vaxxed and have had our boosters
My 6 year old son is booked in and due to have his first dose on Wednesday
I believe in vaccines and everything they stand for and do
However my son a few years back had a reaction to getting his 4 year old immunizations and flu shot the same day and ended up having gone a febrile convulsion. It was the scariest moment of my life.
I have just read about a 7 year old that’s died in the ambulance on his way to westmead from the covid 19 vaccination I am now doubting myself and. I am petrified something might happen to my baby boy please help a mumma out and out my mind at ease.
Please note I read this on a page that is against vaccinations.

Give your son some paracetamol, before the vaccine. Don’t trust and spend anytime on anti vax pages, there info obviously isn’t reliable.
My son has a history of febrile and other convulsions so I understand how scary they are. If you are really worried, have a chat to your sons GP before getting it. Most kids outgrow febrile convulsions once they reach school age.
This is a big no from me no matter what the age. This vax will haunt people for years to come.
And paranoia, scare mongering and psuedo science will haunt the unvaccinated.
Can you provide any evidence of that apart from scaremongering?

Actually, you'd be surprised how easy it is to access them & my brain power to understand them. I've the right to make my own decisions, not be called stupid.
Febrile convulsions are from a spike or fast drop in temperature and very common in young children.... They're scary to see but not really that concerning medically. The temp was the side effect to the vaccination, not the seizure, and a minor one at that. Also, febrile seizures are rarely repeated (most kids only get 1 ever... If they get one) and are very uncommon for kids over the age of 6. Talk to your GP and note it when they ask about previous vaccination reactions, but I'll doubt that they are too concerned.
I would definitely look into how much truth is in that. The stats say that in the test there were no cases of heart problems in 5-11yo. The test group was too small to show any. Out of the 7million kids done,it shows in something like 9out of 1million and all children have recovered. There have been zero deaths in children aged 5-11 due to the vaccine.
Speak to your gp if concerned and if your child has had a reaction to other vaccines.
The stats in NSW are 14 days behind. The case they’re talking about is super suss, but if true should show in the stats next week.
Are you sure this is true about the 7 year old.? People are making things up all the time. I haven’t heard of it. Your son will be fine. They ask about reactions in the past when they get the vaccinations. they also are very well prepared for reactions should they happen. My child is a diabetic and had her vaccination the other day and she was fine. My other kids are also fine from theirs. I booked in and didn’t think anything about it because it makes us anxious and everyone has their opinions and it’s usually bad ones. So I just did it and took it as it comes. My son has reacted to a diff vaccination last year also and the covid ones didn’t affect him at all. Try not to think too much into it apart from the gov health websites and don’t listen to the crap people will try to fill your head with, else you will drive yourself mad with anxiety and fear.

Firstly I can assure you that no child died at Westmead from the covid vaccination. This was proven false and was started by an anti vax group on Facebook. You need to ignore any false information and follow the guidelines of the Australia government. If you have concerns about your child’s reaction in the past, there is a section to fill out regarding this when your child gets vaccinated, so they are aware. The staff are highly trained in what to do in situations of a reaction and have procedures in place.

There is no news report about it anywhere. It's false.
No news report doesn't mean it was false.
There was a massive fire near my house a few days ago, didn't make it on the news. Doesn't mean it didn't happen.
If I wanted to find out if that fire happened, I could by speaking to your community. There is no conspiracy.

If your son had a reaction to the flu shot why would you risk his life. My friends newborn baby has covid and it’s like a mild cold. Wouldn’t you rather just keep him healthy than put a Vax into him that is actually killing some people and children. He may react
Different and be okay but he may not, it’s like Russian roulette. Don’t play with your kids life.
People sitting here saying don’t listen to people who have lost loved ones from the Vax is disgusting. Truth is people react different to vaccines and some people die so don’t sit here and try and say it never happens while you encourage to potentially risk a child’s life cause you’re so small minded to comprehend that some vaccines kill people including the covid vaccine.
