Sorry if this is a silly question but we have
just put an offer in for our first home 😀 & just a little confused with our settlement date .... do we count weekends or just business days ?
We have a 45 day settlement , 7 building & pest & 14 day finance , contract was signed on the 25th of Feb & returned to us completed in the 26th
We are in Qld , thanks in advance .

It includes weekends & public holidays.
It's 45 days including date on front of contract. It won't settle on a weekend, though. It'll settle next business day.
My DH is a broker. He also said talk to your conveyancing solicitor for confirmation & explanation of anything else, including navigating any issues that arise with pest & building inspections.
