How to keep the Christmas spirit alive?

Hi all, I have a nearly 13 year old and 9 year old who are now non believers...this Christmas I am feeling a little sad and depressed that the years have already passed and I feel the fun of Christmas is already over. Mums how do you keep the fun and Christmas spirit alive with your children?

Adjust your attitude. My kids have never truly believed. Christmas is still magical and exciting. They live giving, receiving, the decorations, the food, the hype, the movies, the lights and the family get togethers.

Oh... I should add, they don't believe in Santa because they know he's a fun story based on the real saint Nicholas. They still love Santa, still enjoy apps to call him, photos etc. They just know it's a fun story.

I still found Xmas magical right into my late teens. You don’t need to believe in Santa for the magic to continue. We started doing gag stocking gifts for our parents and took a lot of joy in knowing what our siblings were being gifted. We’d make a HUGE deal of sneaking off to mum and dads room to help wrap presents of our siblings why they were doing something else. The entire thing was hilarious and really kept the playfulness of Xmas and magic alive.
I’m now well into my 40s and we still compete to get the worse stocking fillers.

Don't expect to feel magic. That's huge potential for disappointment. Just enjoy the time. Are you all home? Time for baking? Shopping? Hot chocolates and drives looking at lights? Play carols and sing and dance. Plan food together and make it. Play board games.

Mine are 10,8,7 and they all still believe but I don’t think much will change when they don’t. I will still decorate the house, put up the Christmas tree, fill stockings to be opened Christmas Eve, see Christmas lights, visit the city to see Christmas windows and city decorations, move elves around, keep supply of gingerbread cookies up all December, Christmas movies. Christmas lunch etc
