Echuca/Moama

Hi sisters, I’m just wondering what Echuca College is like? And the primary schools in Moama and Echuca? We are looking at moving next year and just wanted to get some advice. Thanks in advance x

You couldn’t pay me enough to send my children to that high school! The bullying from students and teachers is disgusting. They in no way care about the mental health of their students. If you have another option I would be looking else where

Like any school, there are some beautiful kids that go to the college, however I would not send my kids there because there are more than enough that are the opposite. Your child will either get caught up with the ones you don’t want them to, or they’ll be be one of the good ones who gets left behind because the teacher is constantly dealing with bad behaviour. If your child is one that is self motivated and determined, well you can pretty much send them anywhere. From what I’ve heard from ppl that have worked there, being told to eff off is a daily occurrence.
My kids go to the grammar school in Moama and it is amazing. Obviously more money but worth it as there are very low levels of bullying and the teachers are amazing. The other option is the catholic high school, which has better opportunities than the grammar for kids who want to follow a vocational pathway as opposed to an academic one.
