Elderly neighbour needing help

Hi ladies

I just wondering if there are any services that will come out and help the elderly I have a neighbour who my partner and I have been trying to help with things like cleaning and what not but lately we haven’t been able to help as much if any at all due to covid and me having had given birth to my daughter in January I wasn’t able to help her as much during my pregnancy as I was high risk with with my pregnancy and we really need to get help for her and her 2 kids who are older then me and my partner will not her it’s mainly cleaning and organising as well as getting up and moving around that she needs help with we are on the nsw central coast

Check out the MyAgedCare website and also look at your local council website. Yes, there are funded options, both my neighbours get help with gardening and housework.

Their GP should link them to services, every state/area is different as it's all privatised.

Google my aged care, they should link her into any service she should require (community health, podiatrist, ot, home help etc etc), it can be also recommended she get acat (for permement care even if she doesn’t need it yet) and respite care for times of need.
