Most are these days. UNE have won awards for theirs. CQU was designed to support rural/remote students.
It will also depend on what you want to study. There can be a variance between courses.
Personally I chose a uni that I could do online but also offered face to face. It allowed me the flexibility to go and meet with a tutor face to face if/when I needed it. I also had the option to attend face to face lectures if I chose, and I found helpful from time to time.
It depends on what you want to study. There’s some degrees that require contact time no matter your study mode. I’m currently doing a bachelor of social work through uni SA. The majority of my subjects I can do externally however a couple of them involve intensive days that I am required to attend
I'm doing a sonography degree through CQU. There are labs that I need to attend but the actual lectures and tutes are all online. The uni is brilliantly set up for online learning. There is no way on earth I would be able to manage the content load, go into uni for lectures each day and then parent on top of that.
Online learning is fantastic. BUT, you really need to want to be studying that course as you'll need a ton of self motivation to keep you going!
Google Open Universities Australia. OUA is like the gaitway to all the different courses that you can do at all the different unis. It’s like the online version of a careers councillor.
