Parenting tips please!
I have 2 young children quite close in age; Youngest in near 1 year old & my oldest near 2 years old has increasingly started to misbehave. Not listening, hitting me, just naughty.
I’m lost with it how to deal with it, any advice / books to read will be greatly appreciated.

Just be firm. All that's needed at that age is a firm voice and an unmistakable NO! So many parents try and say no to toddlers the same way they would talk to them about eating lunch or reading a story so they don't understand the difference between any of it. Your one year old will be copying the 2 year old so concentrate more on the 2 year olds behaviour. I had 3 under 3 and 4 under 5 so I know first hand what it's like with kids that are close together, you have to be firm or the younger ones copy.
I'm a firm believer in when they act out .. just maintain your head space be it walk away and get some deep breaths it's hard but over time you can do it .. then hold them till they calm down it really does work and then talk and process it with them.. I believe in my opinion that being too firm or voicing our control just does not work they learn that coercion is a thing to gain respect but I struggled with 2 young boys and now they tell me when I get a bit voicy.. it's good.. there's no right or wrong way but I found this a good teqnique .. tell them to smell the Rose's and blow out the candles ... best advice ever lol .. it's the age but you got this ... we teach what we preach ..
When my little one turned two his behaviour changed almost instantly, I was at my wits end most days and couldn't bear it any longer. It was a few tough days implementing what we learnt but after that we noticed huge improvements and have barely needed to tell him off in the last 6 months, using what we learnt does the trick 😀
