Possible Misscarriage

I am not sure how to deal with this right now, we have been trying for baby #2 for 18mths we have a 2yr 8mth old who we were lucky to get through treatment after 2yrs of trying, we have in the past 18mths has 2 failed IUIs and basically gave up, well i got my period 10days ago i knew something was off with it it was 4 days late and i felt like i had another cyst on my ovary, i went to the dr 2 days ago as i was still bleeding a very small amount and usually my periods only last a max of 5 days and are much heavier at the start and dont have cramps that last more than the first day, they did a blood test found out yesterday that it confirms i am pregnant but they are not sure if i have miscarried or not. I have to go back in today for another Anti D shot (I am neg blood type and my son is positive, had one after his birth) and for another blood test, the dr tells me that i could still be carrying but they dont know yet, this is the first time i have ever naturally conceived and i am not sure how to deal with this news right now, i know tomorrow i will have a better idea on if i have miscarried or not but this whole interim thing is killing me. I will be going through menopause very early (40) and i will be turning 35 this year and have been told if i want a baby after 35 i definitely need IVF which i just can not afford ***UPDATE- confirmed its a miscarriage, need to get more tests to make sure its passed completely now... I am numb, the first time my body works and I conceive naturally and this happens...WTF**

I’m sorry if this is off track but why wasn’t the anti-d given immediately after birth of first child?

(I am the poster) I had anti D straight after the birth of my son

I’m Rh- myself and that’s my understanding of how it has to happen. anti D has zero effect once you’ve been sensitised. My first 3 were also Rh- but 4th was + So I got it immediately after birth

I'm sorry - no one has actually answered your question and I have no experience with miscarriage. All you can really do is wait unfortunately - I hope you get good news tomorrow

My miscarriage was at 11 weeks and I just started bleeding and knew from then on.. (was confirmed obviously) but mine was a lot different so its hard to give you any advice to if it definintly is or not.
Bring on tomorrow where you can have some.more answers.
Its really tough and it will be a roller coaster of emotions and hormones if so, but miscarriages are so common. Draw in all your support systems and stop the things and rest.

Sorry for you loss.
There are many Bulk Billed/Low cost IVF clinics now. Do some research on different clinics in your area, I am positive there will be some clinics you could afford to do IVF with.
Good luck and sending lots of baby dust
