Perimenopause at 36

Please post in the community group.

Hi, has anyone experienced perimenopause at 36 years old? Just wondering what your symptoms were.
I'm having some spotting and I'm not due for my period, it's not ovulation time and I'm definitely not pregnant. I'm also getting headaches or fuzzy head feeling daily and feeling nauseous.
I will be seeing a GP as soon as I can. Thanks.

Yes, late 30s perimenopause started for me. Not similar at all to what you described, but I trust you've seen a gp by now. They can do a blood test but of course hormones are up and down so that isn't the most accurate result.
What I've had - Night sweats, irregular periods (anything between 2wks and 6wks), aching body during periods, headaches, more headaches, and more.

My dr suggested peri menopause after I reported with the fuzzy head / dizziness and just generally feeling very stressed. I hadn’t heard of PERI and dismissed it thinking I’m too young at 39 but if I think back, my body and cycle have changed over the past 3 years but so did my stress levels when I separated from my husband over the same time. My cycles over the past 12 months have been heavier, stop for a day then come back for 2. Definite changes in hormones during the 12 months too.
