Plantar fascia surgery and ankle reconstruction

Hi IM's, I've been seeing a sports physio for 6 months now, I have extreme plantar fasciitis pain and an overly stretched anterior talofibular ligament in the same foot. I have exhausted all possible conservative treatment options and now it's been recommended I see a surgeon for a consultation.
Has anyone had surgery to treat plantar fasciitis? What was the outcome? How long were you off your foot before going back to work? I work in an office, how long is realistic to go back?
I'll also need an ankle reconstruction, how long was that recovery? Do you regret getting it done? Did it help?
I know it's a long shot but has anyone had both? At the same time? It seems recovery is similar so I'm planning on asking the orthopaedic surgeon for both at once.
Does anyone have recommendations for surgeons in Victoria? I'm in rural Victoria but I'm more than happy to travel to see the right people and get the best outcome
