Carpal Tunnel

Has anyone had carpal Tunnel? What steps did you have to take to lead to diagnosis and did you have the surgery? How was the surgery done and any ongoing pain/numbness afterward. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

You'll need a nerve conduction test. Typically via a neurologist. Surgical release surgery is quite simple and can result in full resolution of symptoms, but results vary. Talk to your GP. Edited to add they'll probably rule out symptoms being caused by your neck first....

I have carpal tunnel. I’ve never had the surgery because it’s a pretty mild and manageable version.
I know certain activities make it worse so I avoid those.

A colleague recently had this surgery, it was a day case done keyhole. She fou d recovery quite easy with minimal pain and was able to drive and return to other duties a week or so later.
