Needing to move in 2 weeks looking to find out if anyone knows of any help we can apply for i need about $3000 to finish the move.
We have 4 kids 2 adults i work full time so centrelink is out, asked family no one can help.
We are saving as much as we can we are doing everything ourselves we have culled as much as we can. We are in NSW any suggestions on companies that help please let me know

We have sold alot of the things we can make money on
Hire a trailer or small truck and do it yourself
Nab stepup loan.
Apply for a credit card?
Your local Anglicare may assist with some of the funds to move if your a 1 income family.
Get a small personal loan. I recently moved and didn’t cost nearly that, are you moving far? We moved a 4br house 3c 2a one suburb and it was only $500?
I’ve moved a couple of times with me, my ex hubby and our manchild son helping. We hired a trailer with a wire cage and a ramp and just our 2 cars. Moved within 20minutes each time. Shit it’s hard work with multiple trips back n forth all day, then it rains, or the car breaks down but hey we got there in the end.
I sold or gave away as much as I could, and prepack as much as possible. People on local fb pages usually give away moving boxes or sell for cheap, or you go to Bunnings or local supermarkets.
I’m on a carers pension, so without my mum’s help I couldn’t have done it. She loans me the bond and the 2 weeks rent. Luckily I have family interstate who can and do loan me money at times.
I had a crossover of rentals over a weekend. Move in day Friday, move out day Monday, so Sunday I spent cleaning the old place and Monday the pest guy came, which is another expense. You’d need to book a carpet cleaner as well if there’s carpet in the house.
There’s the added expense of disconnecting and reconnecting utilities, and just the time to organise redirection of mail, and all that... moving is hard! Financially, emotionally, physically
