I am choosing to be grateful!

Today I am choosing to be grateful.

I have a freezer full of ready to go, homemade, nutritious meals for the next couple of weeks but no money left to spare.

I have four wonderful children who, when it comes to the crunch, look out for one another. Even if I have to break up arguements and fights multiple times every hour. They were yelling and arguing inside so I sent them to play in the yard only to have them race back in with the youngest because she had a scraped knee.

My number 3 child struggled really hard to have a great day despite having the wrong coloured pants on for school today (this is a huge thing for a kid with sensory processing disorder, he did a great job today!)

My awesome hubby has chosen to work late every night this week and half of next week so he can have two days off next week to look after the kids. He is sending me away to a women's conference 4 hours drive away and told me not to come back to soon, I need time to recharge my batteries and be the best I can be so I can continue to be a great mummy. He has been squirreling away money to pay for the fuel, accommodation and conference for me for a while, and has even let me know if some awesome camping sites on the way back that 'You need to check out!' (I'm a big camping freak and an introvert, I'm going to really love it!) He's also budgeted in going out for dinner somewhere nice!

And while I write this, my kids have come and sat down to read quietly knowing that mummy has the flu and 'just can't anything, anymore today'.

I am grateful for today and all it's blessings.
