Missing period

Hey all,

I am 16 days late for my period and meant to be ovulating right now. I have had no signs of it at all. My boobs are hurting, I've been super tired and feeling sick.
I have taken 3 at home pregnancy tests which all come back negative and had 2 bloods tests that also come back negative.
I'm also having pain in my right side and just near my belly button.
I have been to the doctors, I have an ultrasound booked, she did a pap smear as I am due for one and an STD check. Which I should be safe from as I have had the same partner for 7 years and my last one 2 months ago was clear
Has this happened to anyone and what was the outcome?

A few times I've had a period just skip a cycle. Nothing happened, just my body being weird.

I think it's safe to say you can rule out pregnancy. It is common for women to sometimes have an "off" month and not ovulate nor have a period. I believe it's referred to as anovulatory. You may not ovulate however will still shed as usual but not have a genuine period. And then next month it'll be back to normal.

This happened to me and I was freaking out (as we were trying for a baby) and the following month I produced heaps more eggs than usual and fell pregnant! (We were going through IVF so were keeping count of eggs).

That's alright then. I was worried something was wrong especially with the pain

Yep it can be worrying, but try not to stress too much. If it continuously happens then probably seek further help, but for now just relax until the next cycle :) The pain will be because your body hasn't shed yet and is "filling up"

My cousin has me worried about cervical cancer as she had all the same symptoms

That would be worrying if it's in the family, but I can almost promise you most women have experienced these symptoms at some stage of their lives and a majority don't have cervical cancer :)

Looks to be PCOS. I did have this before I was pregnant with my 5 year old and the cysts seemed to disappear and hadn't come back until now. I've never actually had any side effects from them so all new to me

I'm glad it's not cervical cancer, however PCOS can be scary and annoying all the same. I too suffer from it :(
