Sole parental responsibility

Hi sisters,

Im wanting to know how hard it is to get some parental responsibility in NSW. My ex is always getting our child tested and is really controlling. I will have a psychologists report to confirm his actions. Also what does sole responsibility then mean and cover?

Sole parental responsibility is incredibly difficult to get. It's usually only awarded in situations with severe proven abuse.
It basically means you'd have the vast majority of care. You make the decisions about health care etc.
It can backfire and you can be seen to alienate the child from the father.
Tread very carefully, get good sensible legal advice from two lawyers.

For example my sister has been in court it's cost $50000 and NOTHING has changed.

Contact legal aid, because depending on the situation they might be able to pay, they might not.
