No more bottles

My nearly 3 year old has recently given Up his morning bottles- I know it was delayed àlot but he can be a fussy eater. But my problem is that he won't eat anything else for brekkie. I've offered toast, baked beans with butter toast, weetbix, fruit, eggs with toast. Pretty much anything I think he'd eat but he's not really interested most mornings. He often waits till lunch time and he'll have a small platter with fruit etc. In just worried he's not getting enough nutritional needs met. Should I bring back his morning bottle just so i know he will get the vitamins he needs? It's been 5ish weeks and he just looks so lost for morning brekkie.

I’d offer him a cup.
Also what’s his height/weight look like? If he looks healthy I wouldn’t worry, just keep offering him options. Try not to let any anxiety show as it can turn into a bad cycle (been there done that).
Some people just aren’t morning eaters.
Maybe bring lunch earlier and add an extra snack in the afternoon.

Don't revert to bottles, I know it's tempting especially if you're worried about how much he's intaking but it will most likely prolong this issue.
What about a sustagen or an up and go type of breakfast drink or even a smoothie?

It doesn't even necessarily need to be "breakfast" food, you could offer him stuff he'd normally have for afternoon tea or dinner. My son went through a phase of eating instant chicken noodle soups for breakfast/morning tea because he's never really been into cereals and stuff.

Try smoothies. Chuck a weetbix in to bulk it up a little, some banana or frozen berries. My boys are teenagers and will often have chicken nuggets for breakfast. They’re eating so I really don’t care. My youngest used to have two minute noodles or leftovers from dinner the night before.

How about a smoothie? Some people are not breakfast people. May be savoury options would suit him more? Don't go back to bottles.

No don’t bring the bottle back. It’s prob filled him up for so long, he prob relies on it and it used to it. Just give it time and he will adjust. He will be fine, so don’t stress about it. Maybe try a small piece of toast or fruit and put half a cup of milk with it and tell him he can have it once he finishes the food. Also get him to help you make something and make it fun. That might help him want to eat it but I wouldn’t bother too much.

My almost 6 year old son is the same. He has never ever been able to eat breakfast. We've tried every food. Sometimes he will agree to something only to take a half a bite and nothing more. He does ask for milk often but only takes a sip. I used to get so anxious about sending him to school without breakfast but he's a healthy weight, full of energy.
I see no harm in giving him formula in a cup for as long as he likes. It's only beneficial.

As others have suggested, try a smoothie. Also, breakfast isn’t a huge deal. If he isn’t hungry, don’t force him.
Something else to think about is who decides what are breakfast foods. If it’s food at breakfast it’s a breakfast food.
