I had an emergency c section a month ago. My first was a normal birth and I only bled for a few days after, then period 2 weeks after that.
With this c section I am still bleeding with mucus discharge a month later, please tell me others have dealt with this as well. I feel absolutely disgusting!

I bled for over 2 months after my c-section.
I only bled for 3 days with my first c-section however with my second I had very light bleeding for a few months. But it was very light, I just needed a liner on daily
It's common, my lochia and bleeding lasted around 4-5 weeks on and off. I was checked weekly and had MCHN home visits and all said it was to be expected
I think your first was a bit out of the normal range, most women bleed heavily after natural birth and for about 4 to 6 weeks of light bleeding. I haven't had a c section but would say that's normal, your body is getting rid of a lot of fluid from the womb.
