6th sense?

6th sense?

Paranormal/supernatural content warning just in case this stuff bothers people.

This is a bit of an out there question lol.

Recently, I was in a social situation where the topic of kids having a sixth sense came up. The conversation came and went quickly, I couldn't quite reignite the conversation without looking like a weirdo 🤣
But I just found the whole phenomenon so fascinating!

Has your child ever seen something or someone that no one else could?
Have they ever talked about a past life or something they couldn't rationally have knowledge of?

I'd love to hear your stories!

Apparently I had a very vivid imagination and use to talk to invisible people in the backyard.

Not exactly Stigmata but if the Catholic church knew back during the Salam witch trials, pretty sure I'd be screwed.

Imagination is a wonderful thing. Sometimes mentally unstable adults encourage it in bad ways though.

Sounds like a family court kind of drama there.

Just remember to believe your child.

My niece used to always know when her grandad had chest pains before he’d tell anyone. She knew when my eldest broke his arm before I’d let them know. She kept insisting something was wrong with him and wanted her mum to ring me. And sure enough, when they rang we were sitting at the hospital because he’d hurt himself. It only ever happened with people she had a very close relationship with. She has outgrown it now that she’s nearly 12.

My son was taking photos with my phone when he was 4. When I looked at them later there was one taken from the end of our long hallway down to the other end. At the end of the hallway was a white figure of a little old lady, dressed smartly in a dress with a bag on one arm like she was about to go somewhere. It was the freakiest thing ever. I showed my neighbours and asked if they knew our house was haunted and they said no but it looks like the lady that used to live there years ago that died of a heart attack in the local shopping centre. He is now a teenager and doesn't remember if he saw her or not when he took the photo.

When I was a young girl, about 4, I used to see my step dads dead brother wandering around the house. He knew that I could see him bcoz he would look right at me. I was confused about who he was. I realised who when I got older but at the time I had no idea . I used to think he was alive like you and I and I was confused how he just got inside the house all the time. He wasn't wispy or see- thru or anything either he was as solid as a living person. He had black hair and always wore red or blue budgie smugglers.

I've had audio hauntings too as a kid where I saw toys move on their own and heard babies crying. They were the ghosts of my two sisters who died at birth . And in my teens my mum died and she too would visit me in voice. I'd hear her as clear as tho I was talking to a living being . Now that used to frighten me bcoz I was older by then and I knew that voice. I knew it was her. She did the same thing to 4 other ppl.

I see spirits all the time. I'm used to them honestly. My rule for them being in my house is dont mess with my stuff or wake me up and you are free to be here.
My eldest had a friend called Sadie when he was little. She was a little girl who died of a disease a hundred years ago or so. She had her head shaved, wore a white old fashioned night gown. He told me all about her house she showed him in his head. She was around for about 4 years until we moved.
We had a little spirit boy who lived in our house who loved a toy ambulance that made noise. I ended up putting it outside so he could play with it at night. When we moved I hid it on the property hoping he would still be able to play with it. He was a lonely boy.
My second son who never met his great grandmother told my mum all about her and how she looks down to her lipstick colour and her dress. All correct. We have no photos of her in the house. He sees spirits all the time too. Soldiers, young children and older lady etc etc
My third son, I believe, is the soul of my dad's father who was killed when my dad was 5 years old. He knows things about him that he shouldn't, that I don't know and have to check with my dad. He has an unusual connection with my dad that I can't explain properly but it's amazing to watch.

My son (3) at the time out of no where told me, 'God said my dad is a F head'. His father abandoned me when I was pregnant and has not been in his life. Never spoken about him, has never come up!. But he told me very matter of fact! 100% believe him too.
My sister dreamt I was pregnant 2weeks before I found out. She would always dream about him, while I was pregnant. Always assuring her, he was ok. (Rough pregnancy) so yes definitely believe in that stuff

Yes! My daughter use to talk to heaps of people. She has spoke to my grandfather and my exhusbands grandmother both who had past away years before we had her and neither of us had spoke to her about either of them. Also both my older 2 kids use to complain (in our old house) that there was a man in the sunroom. I found out after a few years that the lady who owned the house her husband her passed away in the house in that room. I have many many more stories.
