Worried mamma

Hi sisterhood!
I have a beautiful 5 year old daughter. I’ve noticed in the last few weeks that she has BO if she’s been hot and sweaty.
Yesterday when I was drying her after the shower I noticed that she had some longer blonde hair under her arms.
I am hoping for her sake that it’s not puberty…
I’m looking for some advice or experiences…

I’d have a chat to your GP it could be the start of precocious puberty, and in some circumstances it can be slowed down/reversed. But definitely get her checked out.

Id see a gp if ur that worried it xould b the start of puberty which can b slowed down with medication or if u don't like the idea of her being medicated start introducing some self care into her routine like making sure she washes properly and uses an antipersperant deoderant thats gentle on her skin like a roll on one

This happened with my child and we went to see a GP who then referred us to the endocrinology team. My kid had blood tests etc and is under care of endocrinology team and will continue to be so. You'll need to have blood tests and x-rays done etc to give full picture re puberty etc.
