Excessive discharge in 9 year old?

Hi sisterhood,

I'm just needing a little guidance or tips please.
My Daughter is 9 and has definitely reached puberty. She has a lot of discharge and changes several times a day. I'm washing them everyday and we have spoken about everything, nothing is off topic in this house. It is normal, no smells or funny colour that indicate infection but it's just alot. I'm guessing she's not far from starting a period.

Just after ways I could make her more comfortable? We did try liners however she found them uncomfortable. Has anyone tried the period underwear for young girls? I love them for myself but just needing some feedback on the the younger girl ones please.

Also any tips already suggestions would be great! Hope this all makes sense.

Thank you 🥰

Pads might be better while she's going through this stage so she can watch for discolouration and light days compared to heavy days. The more she learns in the beginning will make her more confident about periods in the future.

I’d be getting her some period undies, it will keep her feeling dry all day.
Before my period started I was a total mucus fest down there. Once my period started it all settled down.

How often does she bathe? Is she washing herself properly? Buy her PH balanced feminine wash or use plain water. Avoid soaps .
