$ only goes so far

Hi mums,
I have been going through the federal circuit court for 4 years now, and I’ve had a lawyer representing me the whole time. I have two children who require braces,$8k each child, and one starting private school next year. My $ can only go so far. My question is, has anyone got to this point and then decided to no longer have a lawyer represent them? Pros, Cons or any advice welcomed.
Thank you

Honestly, I’d hold off on the private school and braces and pay a lawyer. Negotiate with the lawyer to do as much work yourself as you can.

I don't know much about the court systems but if you've been through it for 4 years, surely whatever issue it is you're dealing with is close to a conclusion.

To me though, private school is a luxury. Things like medical, dental and legal representation would always come before private schooling.

Orthodontic costs can go through payment plans and there are some fantastic dental funding places around. Lots of options. I agree on private school, though look into scholarships as well.
