Hi Iām looking at career options at the age of 34 š¬ I am interested in becoming a property sales agent when my kids are much older. For now I was thinking property management. Are there any mums who are property managers in QLD? What do you love/hate about the job? How does it work with having kids? What hours do you work? Do you have to do extra work after you clock off?

I own an agency, not by choice but i went in with my husband.. i managed the properties and overall its a thankless job.. drama never ends.. you won't believe how many tenants refuse to pay rent for ridiculous offers.. you will end up constantly hounding tenants to pay rent.. to repair damage.
Now to the landlords some won't even reply to you, they speak to you like you're nothing and they are everything all because they own an investment property.
I will say I have also met some lovely tenants and landlords but majority are not so great. Daily things break in rentals and sometimes your tradesmen can't get there for a week or so but you will cop the brunt of this with ridiculous demands.
Also after hour appointments for viewings and Saturday appointments.
