Just wondering if anyone has had any luck buying a house on disability pension and single parent payment?
Has anyone actually bought through the ‘stop renting today’ people?
I will be on the DSP payment indefinitely if this info helps.
I don’t have any debt as such. I’ve got a car loan that’s just about paid off and never missed a payment. I’ve used after pay only and never missed payments etc and have had a credit card in the past and never has issues paying it off.
Is anyone able to offer advice? I live in north Brisbane if anyone around here has used them and we’re successful I’d love to hear

You will need at least a 5% deposit (if you qualify for government grants) if not you will need at least 20%. However with the price of homes in Brisbane sadly I doubt you will get approval with just one income.
