Crohn's / IBS help

Good evening readers..

I would love some information. I am not after medical advice. So please don’t jump in and tell me to see a Dr. Please only answer if you can and have experienced this.

I have suffered for 2 years with on going intestinal, Bowel issues. at times it has been so painful I Couldnt eat for a few months. it would hurt to even swoll a tablet at my worst.

It seemed to heal and got better. I went to hospital several times. Nothing snowed in bloods so they always sent me home. I then booked a gastroenterologist and paid for it privately just so I could get some answers.

This is where is gets confusing. I had a endoscopy and colonoscopy which didn’t show chrohns or colitis and celiac.

It showed chronic gastritis but that’s about the worst of it.

What I want to know is, does chrohns always show up in these tests? Can it be misdiagnosed.? I feel that I have chrohns still to this day. Because I have had this test and was cleared of it, they tell me that I am just anxious and have anxiety & that is is IBS.

I have never known anyone with IBS to have so much pain. My whole GI tract stings at times and feels like raw sores or burning hit feeling in different spots.

I am still under drs etc I am pushing for more tests. Could the chronic gastritis or IBS cause all this sore and burning and pain. It’s not just mild pain, itS everytime my food starts to digest. I feel it digest and bang the pains hit.

I don’t get diohrea so they keep passing off the idea of chrohns also but I get psoriasis which is linked to chrohns.

Could I still have chrohns like I think? Hope this post isn’t too confusing and long 😩

Sorry not me? I have read a few similar posts but this wasn’t from me. I wouldn’t be asking again if I had answers.

Think you are getting it mixed up with a celiac post. I havent seen this posted before.

I thought this too but that was a gluten intolerance post.

But the word diarrhoea is spelt exactly the same unique wrong way in both posts. So yes both posts are yours.

But it’s a different question so if it is same person what does it even matter? Maybe she doesn’t even realise? Or is trying to find out more.

So if you can’t answer her question move on. She has asked a question.

I have spelt things wrong like this before too when I can’t be bothered changing the predictive word. Your reply hasn't answered her question. There is no limit on here as to how many times someone can post. I don’t actually follow every single post either and find these questions interesting. Move on 🙄

Don’t blame her she owes you no explanation

Why you lying girl? Caught . Yeah you wrote the two posts 🤣🤣.

Even if she did write them, she may be worried so have a little respect. You don’t know her circumstances.

What’s there to be caught for.? This is an odd response.

big deal so what if she wrote 2 posts. Are you that sad, that you read every post and filter it word for word just so you can make a comment 😤

They have too much time to copy and troll the op and chat to each other prob sitting next to each other 😅 Small minds

Hope you are ok. You sound a little anxious. It’s fine if you posted again. I have no advice but someone with Crohn’s may be able to answer. Just ignore these rude people.

You still may have it. I have heard that it can be hard to diagnose.Drs put a lot down to IBS. Keep pushing to see if there is anymore tests you can do.

Could have written this myself. Will be following for advice.

I think the medical professionals have diagnosed you and you need to accept it.

Don’t follow my advice, sure, but follow the doctors advice and the results of the comprehensive tests you’ve had, not some people from the internet.

I Rekon fancy telling someone that. She’s obviously worried and you go tell her something like that. Clown

A clown? She’s had comprehensive tests, she’s been diagnosed, only a clown would tell her she has something else. She needs to investigate what she actually has and work on minimising her symptoms and getting to the bottom of the cause. I’m not going to tell her what she wants to hear, for the sake of it and send her on a wild goose chase.

Look how many times this lying Gronk has commented on her own comments pretending to be someone else each time.

You clearly said (above ^^ ) that the other post several days back was not yours. Its actually not about the post. It's about the lying. If you weren't such a lying mutt you would have more understanding here. But here you are again because you didn't like the answres on your first post, which is fine. But be truthful and you'll get the compassion you clearly crave.

You have several days to troll through posts and investigate misspelt words, just so you can troll people’s posts…

what a wack job!

It’s the actual posts. Not the the responses. Her misspelt diarrhoea was in two posts hence her bold faced lie. Nothing to do with trolling and scrolling the responses in them. It’s in the original posts themselves. You know … the first point of contact we all see? Yeah those. All these responses in here are all you though ( her ) pretending * to be multiple people. 😂. It’s so funny watching you keep biting 😂

Hello,
I don’t comment often; but I can help with what you’re asking.
Firstly, if you’ve had a colonoscopy and they didn’t detect Chrohns then you don’t have it. The more alarming part of your diagnosis is severe gastritis. Do you know what causes chronic gastritis ? Or what it is ?

Chronic gastritis is an inflammatory response from the lining of your gastric system. injury, regular use of NSAIDs and too much alcohol or undiagnosed food intolerances.
Due to the fact you’ve stated at once it got better snd you didn’t eat properly for a little while and you haven’t mentioned any injuries… I’m thinking you have a dependency on alcohol or prescription drugs.
In my experience, incorrect use of prescribed medications with alcohol will cause a large flareup.

So how do you get fixed ?

You need to see a doctor and explain what your taking and when.

If you aren’t taking regular medications and your not drinking, then you need another doctor. ASAP.

Gosh, careful . She will come back on here accusing you of calling her an alcoholic or a drug addict. But you could be right. Affects her brain as well as her stomach going by her comments all along this thread

I am the person who has posted this question on here and I have no idea what you are talking about. I won’t be entering into anything else with you.

Thanks for responding to my post. I don’t drink and rarely take medication. Your post makes so much sense to me now though. I have been led to believe this has been IBS for so long that I really did think that they misdiagnosed Chrohns No one has ever mentioned to me that intolerances can cause chronic gastritis. I have had so many tests and they have all said the same to me. It’s IBS because the results are all negative. The things that cause chronic gastritis is spicy food, alcohol and heavy medication use. Your post explains it all. Do you know how I can get tested for any specific intolerances? Or is elimination really the only way to tell. This has been one huge roller coaster for me. I am so appreciative that you have posted this for me. You haven’t given me the best and clearest explanation that I have ever had.

So I posted the above answer.
Yes eliminating foods is key, but does need to be done under strict instructions. You need a dietitian ( and forget nutritionalists- they are NOT what you need).
Do not start any changes until you have seen a dietitian.
Buy a good diary to write down all foods, gives the dietitian a place to start.
