Visceral hypersensitivity

Does anyone on here have visceral hypersensitivity.? I didn’t know it was such a thing until I found out what it actual meant. If you do, I would love to know what has caused it, if you know.

I can feel food move through my intestines, it was the weirdest strangest sensation but I got so used to it that it feels the norm to me now.

Every little movement and bend in my intestines, I feel my food digesting and moving through.

I did see a specialist who told me it’s visceral hypersensitivity due to IBS and it is common with IBS. When I speak to people with IBS they have no clue what I’m talking about and can’t understand how I can feel my food moving through.

Please tell me someone else gets this too! I haven’t heard of another person yet.
