Trigger warning - advice on medical abortion

⚠️⚠️Trigger warning- abortion⚠️⚠️

Hello Sisterhood 💕
I'm unfortunately in a situation where I cannot continue my pregnancy.
My doctor has advised me of my options, and I will be having a medical abortion.
Even though I have read a lot of information on what to expect, I'm still extremely nervous about this procedure.
If any of you lovely ladies have been through this before I would really appreciate it if you could please share your experience...how long it all took, if it was painful, recovery time, etc.
I think it may help me prepare myself more appropriately if I knew other women's experiences regarding this.
Thanks in advance 🙏🙏🙏

Mine really wasn’t too bad I was 11 weeks, I was anxious the nurse stayed by my head the whole time, it is uncomfortable and a bit emotional what you’re going through but I’m sure that’s to be expected, was over pretty quickly then I was back home to rest, I think I rested over the weekend and was good by the Monday it’s not too bad on the body recovery wise I wasn’t too sore just a few tummy aches like bad period pains (which I get all the time anyway) was just like a bad period..

Good luck beautiful and just reach out if you need to talk to someone! Don’t think just because you made that choice you can’t grieve or be sad, it is all normal to think about and be emotional about Xx

If you want an honest answer, there is never a time when a pregnancy must end in an abortion. Even in the most dire medical situations, there are always options and always alternatives to killing an unborn child.

There are always supports for you, and there are always medical interventions which can occur as well so that your living baby does not need to be killed at the hands of somebody else.
