If I’ve done a cert 3 in beauty which includes waxing. I’m just wondering do I need to do a specific add on to offer Brazilian waxing or does my waxing cert cover me?
I’ve done a Brazilian on my sisters and had them on me before.
I’m just wondering as I’ve had people as me for a Brazilian however I’m unsure if my waxing certificate is enough for my insurance to cover me?

My daughter did a cert 3 four yrs ago in beauty therapy and they didn't learn brazillian until the Diploma. They did bikini line though . I don't think you can practise professionally until you have your Diploma anyway
We can practice with our cert 3 where I am.
I thought Brazilian needed to be an additional course.
Brazillian is an additional course but they do touch base with it in the Diploma. It may differ State by State and newer courses are possibly altered slightly too than they were years ago.
I'm doing a diploma of beauty therapy (in Victoria) right now and have completed waxing and no it doesn't cover it. It's now a separate course that needs to be taken. You Will need to find somewhere that teaches it
