Youth Work

Any Youth Workers out there with advice?
I am wanting to start studying again, but I need to study something that is
1- a certification will help me get a job and
2-work for my family
I want to study youth work and have done in the past, but I am worried this work will not work with my family as I have two kids,
Should I stick with studying youth work as this is something I want to do and can I make it work?

I'm sure you'll make it work out. There's lots of after hours work but you don't have to do those shifts until you can

If your in qld look at the tafe website. The government is putting a huge amount of funding into certain study areas and youth work is one. The course is usually full fee $6400 and if your not working you can get it for $34! Teacher aid (cert in education support) is also funded. Look up jobtrainer funded courses. I’ve just enrolled in the cert 4 youth work as i too have always wanted to do it. I have 4 school aged kids and the study online is part time. It’s doable:)
