Hey ladies,
I rent and the toilet was so stained when I moved in. I think its rust stains. I have an event I'm hosting this weekend and its embarrassing, it looks like I dont clean my toilet. I imagine its looked this way for years.
Its all through the bottom of the bowl.
I have tried soaking it with everhthing: bi-carb and vinegar, bleach, toilet cleaners and good old fashioned elbow grease. And its not even lightening it.
Any suggestions or is it done for?

Most people should be able to tell the difference between an old toilet and a dirty toilet. Get some of those toilet things that leave bubbles every time you flush so nobody sees below 🤣. Porcelain can be made worse if you scrub it so I would just leave it be.
Go to Bunnings and buy some scalex, put some in the toilet and then pour boiling water on top. Wait a few hours or even overnight and then scrub the bowl and the stains should be gone. Good luck!
