Is anyone allergic to or have reactions to pads? In particular Kotex? I think I’m having a reaction? I bought them last month and after a couple of days of wearing them, I got quite itchy then the top of my vagina gets really dry and cracked/splits a bit. Also a bit of brownish smelly discharge. Well, I forgot what brand it was when I went to the shop this month then accidentally bought them again, same thing happened. Anyone else have the same thing?

Yes!!! Me!!! I get it with all pads unfortunately and I use thrush cream to treat it
I find I get heated up to much when I wear pads too often. Now I mix it up a bit between Modibodis, tampons, cup and pads. Not a problem.
I know it sounds like a wide range but I find different products for different times of my cycle make me the most comfortable all round.
I have only been able to wear "cottons" brand in the past.
All disposable pads have this affect on me.
Almost like a chemical burn on my lady parts, I'm actually severely allergic to the adhesive from band aids and medical tape etc so I've always wondered if the sticky part of the pad had something to do with it.
Have you thought about trying period underwear, re-usable fabric pads or even a cup?
