Vasectomy

Vasectomy

Hey IM’s
My husband and I have been discussing the idea of him having a vasectomy. He is happy to do so as we are complete as a family. However, he has heard that sex following the procedure is not the same. Anyone know if this is the case with their partners following a vasectomy?

Thanks so much

My ex husband had a vasectomy after our 5th child. And sex was no different to before the vasectomy. It doesn't affect erections. Either that, or he was just too into me! Lol

My partner said sex is exactly the same pre op vs post op. He said the only difference is he can now ‘bend me over more’ and not get me pregnant 😂😂 (charming right)

My husband just laughed... So I'm guessing he finds no difference. He tells people frequently how easy it was and no stress over whoops additions to the family

Other than some recovery time, no different except no more panicking about pregnancy.

No complaints here. After the initial healing/bruising while things were still tender it was back to normal, and better because we weren't worried about a surprise baby.

my OH had his done 8 yrs ago now, and said it felt weird when he ejaculated, like something inside was different. It lasted about 3 weeks, now he tells anyone who asks they should get it down best thing ever. Men are sooks but after 3 c sections i was not going through any more birth control so it was condoms or no sex. the snip was very attractive??? no regrets here

My husband had the snip about 18 months ago.. We found that sex felt the same, but ejaculation was different. (There wasn't as much force behind it). Its the 'new normal' now so we don't notice it anymore. We both have higher libidos now, probably because they're is no chance of whoopsy babies!

My husband had his 13 years ago. No problems with any of it. There's horror stories with every procedure. Go with what you're both happy with. Do your homework & go from there.

Yep my husband has said that because of his vasectomy he can no longer keep his erection but also he has type 2 diabetes so that could have something to do with it make sure he is prepared to have the procedure because men who are old fashioned can blame the surgery just saying
