Growing Business

This isn't really a child question but I am hoping someone maybe able to help. I am helping a family member grow their businesses but I am kind of stuck.
He has a plumbing and gas business and a trailer/fabrication business.

Can anyone lead me in a direction to find commercial work for the plumbing? I submitted a few tenders for some councils however I am unsure how to find bigger businesses/warehouses etc to have a steady stream of business.

The trailer manufacturing how would you go about getting someone to sell your trailers? He manufactures canopies, trailer parts, boxes, pretty much anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions to lead me in the right direction as I am feeling a little lost right now haha.

Thank so much in advance this is much appreciated!

For the plumbing side of things, have you tried local hotels. I currently work in a 23 apartment complex. It seems every other week we have the one plumber who attends to fix leaking toilets, shower heads, hot water tanks etc. whilst it may not sound like a big pay packet, at the end of the year you'd be surprised.

I think it could be hard getting his products sold to bigger businesses, they will need to meet certain standards ect. I'd stick with trying to sell these on his own, the owner (of the trailer) would then take these said parts to the installer unless this is also a service your friend can perform.

Join a website like Australian tenders and Google government contracts for your state they should be listed on their website somewhere!
