Just need someone to talk too.

I’m just looking for someone in the same boat as me, I suffer really bad anxiety. Which I’m taking medication for, but my anxiety is still so bad it’s ruining my day to day life, I’m currently sitting in tears because I don’t feel right and my brain thinks I’m about to die, please I’m just wondering if this gets any better as it’s ruining my daily life I will avoid certain situations so it doesn’t flare it up, just want someone to talk to who suffers the same.

Yes its definitely manageable. Medication can literally lower the worry hormones and increase the happy ones, to give you a bit of a break while you learn how to manage and change what youre currently in.

I hope things turn around for you! Anxiety is a horrible thing to battle. Is it worth seeing your dr to see if they have a more suited medication? Have you got anyone close by to talk to when it flares up?

I was in your spot 15 years ago. It took 10 years but I’m pretty much anxiety free (it’s very manageable when it does come as it isn’t severe). I had every ailment, was dying every day. Had every cancer etc. Here I am years later still alive. You have to think that you are ok. Tell yourself it’s unlikely you have these things. Things to help:- constant and good counselling and alternative therapies. You need the right person to help you. If something pops up, visit the dr to get tested. With my severe anxiety, I also had a fear of Drs so eventually I had to face it head on when I needed surgery which helped me realise I was ok when I got tests done. Meditation and essential oils, incense, anything positive will assist to shift your mindset. Goodluck. It’s an awful situation and now I’m on the other side I cannot believe I lived that way for so long xx

Yes it’s normal. When you get like this you need to get up and go for a walk. Get outside, and walk and keep walking. It’s mentally exhausting. Our minds take over and it’s so real. I go for big walks and it distracts me. When I get home and if the feeling hasn’t gone. I walk around the block, then I might go again. It does get better. I also have a relaxing bath or a shower and it calms me down a lot. Just remember you are not going to die. It’s not real and you need to change your thoughts. Distract yourself and I know it’s almost impossible but you have to else this thing will win. Medication is fantastic and if it doesn’t help, get stronger dose and you need a psychologist.

I suffer the same and I know all the things that I'm supposed to do that supposedly help but doing those things is easier said than done. I have had a horrible anxiety day today and have also had a big cry. Please don't hesitate to text me on 0411783103 for a chat if you want as a start, you certainly aren't alone. xx
