I don’t feel like sex!

Hi everyone
My husband and I have been married for 3 years, we have an amazing relationship. We have never faced any large issues and we resolve things very quickly. We have two beautiful children together. My husband is always complimenting me.. always telling me how sexy I am and he absolutely loves having sex with me. I know I should appreciate it, but I just really don’t find sex enjoyable anymore ( I’m currently pregnant ) to me it’s a chore. My husband has taken this personally and now is upset because he feels I’m not attracted to him. Which I very much am. It’s more the fact that I’m so tired, pregnant and I just can’t be bothered!!!! Any suggestions please!!!

Find ways to make it fun. Spice it up. Find what turns you on.

I’m waiting for the woman who always says, just give him a hand or blow job lol
I kind of see her point, minimum effort, maximum impact 😂

What were you like during your other pregnancies? Every pregnancy is different, including sex drive. With my eldest I enjoyed sex throughout the pregnancy. With my youngest my husband was away for work for 6 months, leaving soon after finding out I was pregnant (about 4-5 weeks along). When he came home for a brief visit after 4 months of being away I wasn’t interested in sex, plus it was uncomfortable for me because I’d go without for months. It was the same when he got home when the 6 months was up. He also took it personally. It wasn’t that I no longer found him attractive, it was just uncomfortable to have him I me after going without for 6 months. I had to keep reiterating to him that every pregnancy is different and it isn’t a reflection on him, and the importance of doing what I was comfortable with.

You need to find a way to make him hear you: it's not him, it's you. Such a cliche but it's true. "Babe, I love you, nothing has changed with regard to my feelings toward you. In theory, I do want to bang your brains out, but right now I am literally growing a human, looking after our house and kids and I'm just bloody exhausted! Please don't take this personally. It's not you!"
