The Ordinary skincare

I've been hearing the name "the Ordinary" being thrown around a lot lately as a preferred skincare brand so I want to try it but there's sooo many products to choose from and I'm a bit lost.
I tried the FAQ on the website but didn't understand what they were on about. I also went into a Priceline but the staff were not sure.
So basically I need your recommendations.
I am mid 30s, I have pretty good, smooth skin with no blemishes. I wear a sunscreen. My main concern is pigmentation from both sun and pregnancy. I also have some faint fine lines on my forehead and eyes but if I can just clear up my uneven skin tone I would be very happy.
