Recurrent cellulitis

Recurrent cellulitis

Not asking for medical advice as I’m seeing a gp tomorrow. Just wondering has anyone else’s toddlers had recurring cellulitis. Almost every time my 3yo gets bitten by a mosquito it turns into cellulitis. I don’t know if it could be caused by an underlying issue or what, or if there is anything I can do to prevent it. But has it happened to anyone else?

Poor circulation, have him checked for diabetes! If that is all good I would see a pediatrician anyway to rule out any underlying conditions. It's not normal for toddlers to get it often. My partner had it for the first time last year, he has a high pain threshold and I've seen him grin and bare it through a lot of things but he was in so much pain with cellulitis. I hope your little one gets better soon.
